Um, when I get tattooed, I rather enjoy going numb about 10 minutes into it.... That is comfortable...haha

Yes when I was in the hospital on Morphine. That was pretty wild. Also, when I have mixed some pain pills with some liquor and pot -I am not recommending it, but I definitely felt no pain. Just like floating.

Numb in the sense of cool to difficult situations yes
Numb to the pain yes, physically and mentally
Numb to the suffering of others no, comfortable in others suffering or my own suffering no

when i was a child i had a fever my hands felt like balloons and now i must confess I'm comfortably numb.
But i prefer to be on the dark side of the moon.

Yes, but that was a time in my life when I would do anything. I am no longer that person thank goodness or I would be dead.
