I wouldn't want to. You'd be in a wheelchair just sitting there having someone else brush your teeth, if you still have them and wiping your butt.

You would need a very complex equation to define a general equation for a random person's odds of reaching 116.

Simplifying the equation, the odds are roughly 1 in 4,293,391,309. This is the number of people who have lived since 1946 divided by the number of people who have lived to 116.

It depends on how old you are. People in the 1700s only lived to forty. People now live to about 65 to 70. The younger you are now, the more likely you'll live longer later. Another thing that might determine your survival is your environment, your genetic make up, and if you are and stay healthy.

If you live and eat like the rural Asians do, the odds are pretty good. If you live like the typical American or European, then you'd be lucky to make it to 80. Read more here: http://www.drmcdougall.com/

Pretty low in this century, but in a few hundred years or so, it's quite possible lots of folks will live that long.

Better if you are already 115 than if you are 70.
