Okaaaaaay If Jimi Hendrix was Alive Today what Type of Music Do You Think He`d Be Playing?

HIs playing would be far more advanced considering the extra 30 years of life and playing. He would by far be the best musician, exceeding far past the talents of similar artists like Santana. The music he would make would be like nothing you've ever heard before.

He might have taken one of the two roads:

1 - Either stick with blues and play once in a while with friends... just like Eric Clapton. This is if he choses easy life.

2 - Go more fusion and even jazzy like Jeff Beck. This is if he starts soul searching and wants to explore further what there can be.

Of course he would have a distinct style whatever he does.

I think he would be playing rock 'n' roll. When you have an amazing talent like that it would be a shame to waste it. Jimi and Rory Gallagher would have played well together. Also, if its guitar you're into then keep an eye out for Joe O' Neill. He plays with a band called "Calling card". The boy is 19 and plays like Gallagher did!

Jimmi Hendrix would play whatever the "F" he wanted. Wanna know why? Because he's fricken Jimmi Hendrix, and whatever he plays I guarantee would be a hit.

Piano.With all the drugs he took after 30 years he probably won't be able to play guitar,mashed brain &DTs.Mind you with the depression it causes he wouldn't want to.

I reckon guitar music, possibly?

Probably some BB King type mellowed down old blues, I'd guess. It would be so cool!!

Jazz would have been my answer but there would be a danger that it would be so far advanced and complex that no-one would get it.

What ever sort of music that dead guy's who come back from the grave play ,man !
