Wondering about my child's vision...?
My daughter will be 2 months old on Oct. 19. I am wondering how well she can see at this age. Anyone have definitive answers, or know of any web sites where I can find some?

If you poke her in the eyes and she crys you know they are working.

At birth a baby can see light and patterns, and most things within 8 inches of their face, but only in blacks, whites, and grays. Anything further away is blurred. Vision develops slowly over the next few months, and by two months, your daughter can distinguish some reds and blues from white. By 4 months, her color vision will be fully developed. She still can't see more than a couple of feet in front of her....but will slowly begin to see things further away as her eyes developed.
It's still a good idea to keep things you want her to see fairly close, and provide lots of interesting patterns and colors for her to look at. Patterned crib sheets, a vivid mobile, wall stickers or stencils, brightly colored toys, and the faces of anyone she knows, are essential to her visual, emotional, and intellectual development.
Have fun exploring with your lovely princess and good luck!

ask your physican. But to the best of my Knowledge, she should be able to see alot of colors, faces etc, up to 8 feet around her. And by 3 months she should be able to see all colors and faces. Atleast thats what my doc. says. If not, try a parenting website.
