I've heard you can "IM" on your computer using your Yahoo! account and a microphone & headset?

Does anybody know about this, and if so, how do I go about it, what equipment do I need and how do I install it?

    IM means Instant Message, which is text based so you dont need a mic or headset. Sounds like you mean voice chat. Yahoo Messenger enables you to do both:

    i think you mean yahoo voice. you just need a microphone and head set. plug them into the appropriate spots on your pc box and click on help on your yahoo buddy list and go to audio setup wizard. it will take you through the steps to make sure its all working.
