Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

have you tried getting lowlights. Get some strands coloured as dark as your natural, reverse highlights and then the grey won't show as much it you can gradually get your hair grey with less of a contrast. a lot of women and even me n have been using this method when they beign to go grey.

First of all I would sug. going to a salon. Do not attempt box colors on your own.

Second explain to a prof. what it is your trying to achive.

Third of all Get hilites and lowlites. By this I mean one lighter color and one that matches closer to your natural. Have the prof. hilite with a level that isnt too dramatically lighter than natural color. For instance dont use platnum blonde if your hair is black.

Alternate hilite weave, leave natural, and lowlite weave on entire head. A weave is when the hair section to be foiled is broken up not solid. To do this you use a pintail comb and just catch small pieces of the hair to be colored in a catch leave patern. Good luck!

The trick I've heard of is, as you age, go to a slightly lighter shade. My daughter, a hairdresser, estimates that I'm about 70% or more gray. We both think gray will only leave me with a washed out appearance. I think dyed hair can be attractive as long as the color is suitable and the cut is complementary.

The one thing you might think about is going to a slightly lighter color. Each time you color your hair, go slightly lighter. This will gradually bring your color closer to the (gray) lighter color you have coming in. Also, a lighter color softens your face as you do grow older. It doesn't look as harsh.

I don't think that there's other way.I think either keep coloring your hair or just let them be.
