Where was airfield code named "valley" in Englnand in WWII?

    It was not a codename. It was RAF Valley in Anglesey, N Wales ... in WW2 it was part of 9 Group providing air cover for the Irish sea and Western Approaches. For a full detailed WW2 history, see the link below.

    In Anglesea, a small island off North Wales. There is a RAF base still there today called RAF Valley.
