4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender9 years agoSteven Hawkin thinks that ultimate, primal question is "Why is there something instead of nothing."?
How can one offer a reasonable response to so vast a question? Barring theistic nonsense, is there any possible response from manifest, observable first principles?
10 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoDoes she even know what "rogue" means?
Webster:
Rogue n. a dishonest person, a knave, a sly mischievous person, a rascal.
Bears that attack people in Yellow Stone are called "rogues" and they are destroyed.
Elephants in India that leave the herd and destroy villages, killing people are called "rogues" and are destroyed.
The word carries no positive implications. Why would any intelligent person want to be thought of as a rogue? Are we about to be attacked by the rogue ? OMG

3 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoIsn't it horribly demeaning to ask others to do your homework ?
It would seem a really unworthy thing to do, and one that reflects very badly on one's character. More baffling is the number of students who stoop to it. I would never employ anyone that I knew to have done this and I have seem remarks from others who seem to be equally disgusted by the practice..

4 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWhy are males of the species always more sexually aggressive than the female?
In most species, it is impossible for the female to force coitus on an unwilling male, but the reverse is not true. What survival advantage can this fact provide in the continuation of a given species?.
14 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWhat, exactly, does it mean when we are expected to "respect"?
the opinions of others? Should I respect the opinions of a racist, a religious extremist, or someone who believes unbridled greed is necessary for a healthy economy? If not, why should I respect an atheist, or an evangelical? Why can I not just condemn and then argue my point without respecting anything that appears absurd or dangerous to me?
