Can you remember?

finally coming to understand a difficult philosophical concept, and in the thrill of comprehnesion, you uncritically accepted it as valid? Like Hegalian dialectial theory of historical causation. It's absurd, but so many people believe it once they understand it and can dialogue about it.

Marxism is based on the damn thing. See what I mean?

Re-member is to reconstruct the past in the present moment. As a reconstruction it is often different from what actually existed.

For anything that you can claim is recalled with detail. It is easy to demonstrate that many details were forgotten.

What is remembered is what we choose to "memorize".

Re-member what was happening at the time you constructed the question.

Now, remember what you forgot to include in that memory. (Chose not to include.)

  • so, are you saying that you understand Marxism at this point? you bring it up for a reason, do you suddenly see the value of Marxist thinking and feel guilty about it? on the other hand, hegal had plenty of other ideas that don't merit mention.
