In the State of Texas is there anything that can be done rather than jail time on a 3rd Dwi(felony) offense?
i was arrested on sept 4th for a dwi 3 i was in a wreck where i dogdged a car coming towrds me in my lane hit a guardrail then a few seconds later a car came down the hill and hit me in the back... well no charges were given to me at the wreck but when i was on the x-ray table at the hospital. the dps officer came in and asked me to take a breath and blood testl i refused, then he said he wouldnt make me do a field sobreity test because of my condition of my wreck so i signed a paper saying that i refused he told me he wasnt going to arrest me and take me to jail that night but he would be putting a warrent out to this day no warrent yet. but the accident rpt has me down 4 a dwi3 i have hired a attorney i was heading home from work that night and i have ppl at working willing to testify i was at work and from work till the wreck happened was about 40 mins tops. i wasnt drinking i should have taken the test but i was all shook up didnt wanna do anything what do u think my chances are

So if you won't guilty you should have taken the breath test, by law there is an assumption of guilty by refusing to take the test.
And of course ( sorry) but co-workes are know to lie about when someone left work ( or if they were drinking at work)
If your place of work has a time clock that clocks you in and out that would be much better evidence.
And if the perople ( again sorry) are not telling the truth but agreed to lie for you, it only takes one too change thier story ( or even one at work who does not like you that would lie and say you won't there) that will make it look like others are lying for you.
I would say I would not make any future travel plans for a while.

For starters, consider yourself lucky. You can tell by the answers here that people still have that "hang 'em high" attitude. Then you need to do some honest self reflection. To say that "i dont have drinking problem" only lasts until you start having problems. By your own words you are facing a possible THIRD DWI. This would make any reasonable person admit to themselves that they have a problem. Would you be okay with being the cause of someones death while being behind the wheel drunk? Drinking and making the decision to drive is the legal loophole that will determine how many years you spend in prison. And texas has a long reputation of putting people in prison for alot less.

truthfully Bush became raised in New England. Saudi Arabia and Iran rule the oil worldwide. the recent Texas raid saved some hundred underage women from being forced to wed and sexual abuse. additionally, Texas became no longer a stronghold of the KKK...the place do you get those products? i do no longer stay in Texas yet I truthfully have visited some cases. i got here across the girls rather beautiful and friendly and the firearms rules are mind-blowing. the only shy away I suddenly met became the quantity of unlawful extraterrestrial beings working amok...which you probably did no longer point out. you have needless to say by no ability visited New Jersey.

In the state of Texas just refusing to take a breath or blood test is an automatic year suspension of driving priveldges. With your past history, all I can say is good luck.

In the state of Texas refusing a breath test is saying you are guilty. If I was on the jury, I would vote to give you a heavy sentence, you have no business driving, you are a hazard to the good drivers of this state.

If this is your 3rd DWI, you have clearly shown yourself to be either unwilling or unable to control your conduct. Your actions callously endanger the welfare of every innocent person on the road. Jail is precisely where you need to be.

I recommend when you are in front of the judge and he is getting ready to sentence you, you immediately blurt out that you want lethal injection. With any luck, he'll honor your request.
