Using a Yahoo Mail avatar
1. Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and create an avatar
2. Go to Yahoo Answers
3. Click on "my q&a"
4. Click on "edit my info"
5. Click on "use my Yahoo Avatar"

Try saving it and then closing the screen, log out of answers and then open it back up and you'll see that you can pick your avatar.

go to your options and click show avatar i just joind i think that is waht you do

Sometimes you have to reboot after making one. Try that and see if it shows up.
