what is really like to work as an recruitment consultant?

As a graduate these jobs seem everywhere and have great OTE's- I want to get a better undrstanding of this job.

    Crap......long hours, on call 24/7 getting phone calls from clients and staff in the middle of the night, people not turning up and you have to find replacements often in the middle of the night and getting grief from staff because your ringing them at 100am....apart from that...great!!!!

    Interview people, check back ground references, education, work etc and see if the will fit the jib they are seeking

    I should say it would be boring with little job satisfaction.
