What do you think of JW Dunne's theory of time?
Dunne was an aeronautical engineer for the military who devised a theory of time based on precognitive dreams.
"Dunne's theory, elaborated from years of experiments into precognitive dreams and induced precognitive states, is that in reality all Time is eternally present ie that past, present and future are all happening at the same time. Human consciousness, however, experiences this simultaneity in linear form. Dunne posits that in the dreaming state this way of interpreting Time ceases to be as concrete as when we are awake."

Via his theory, he attempted to prove immortality scientifically. Your opinion?

How funny! I had not read this other question of yours when I answered the precognition question you had posted. Was that precognition?
Yes I believe he is correct. I didn't know a man named Dunne had actually officially written this down...
Yes it does support reincarnation as well doesn't it?

I think it's an old idea. I think Wiccans and/or Pagans (and there is a difference folks) generally use present tense to do all prayers, chants, spells, etc. They don't say "make this happen in the future", they say "this is happening now". And I believe there's something important about that.
To be concise, if something isn't happening now, it isn't happening.
Think about human behavior. When someone procrastinates, they say "I'll do it later", What they really mean is "I'm not doing this now" which REALLY means "I'm not doing this". Until "later" comes, it never actually gets done. So in a practical sense, he's saying "no".
"Some day my prince will come."
"One day we will all be free."
"I'll take out the garbage later."
Now I'm not saying this person is plagiarizing this idea. I just think he's articulating his discovery of what could be called a divine truth.

I have heard the theory before, and often wondered if we die in this moment of reality, then would we continue to experience the past as a re-run like in that Chevy Chase movie "Groundhog Day" where he has the same day repeated over and over?

hi, A Qur’?nic remark states: “the individuals of the e book went incorrect: The Jews in breaking their Covenant, and slandering Mary and Jesus . . . and the Christians in elevating Jesus the Apostle to equality with God” by way of ability of the Trinity doctrine.—Surah 4:153-176, AYA. we don't extra healthful into the above although, can we? as a results of fact as you already know we've self assurance God & Jesus to be 2 separate personalities .... subsequently your query to us. The crucial coaching of Isl?m, for utter simplicity, is what's commonplace as a results of fact the shah?dah, or confession of religion, which each and each Muslim knows by way of heart: “l. a. il?h illa All?h; Mu?ammad ras?l All?h” (No god yet Allah; Mu?ammad is the messenger of Allah). This consents with the Qur’?nic expression, “Your God is One God; there is not any God shop Him, the Beneficent, the Merciful.” (Surah 2:163, MMP) This theory develop into stated 2,000 years formerly with the classic call to Israel: “hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.” (Deuteronomy 6:4) Jesus repeated this maximum popular command, it somewhat is recorded at Mark 12:29, approximately 600 years formerly Mu?ammad, and nowhere did Jesus declare to be God or to be equivalent to Him.—Mark 13:32; John 14:28; a million Corinthians 15:28. So, seeing as a results of fact the bible stated this fact 2000 years formerly than the Quran, and we stick to the bible .... why do no longer you develop right into a Jehovah's Witness? Or a minimum of inspect our ideals in extra intensity

Time is only relevant to the human mind. Like free will, we experience it, so we think it exists. Makes sense.

Since our past actions control the future, I don't see how they could exist concurrently.
