What do you think of my web site?
No, its not spam or porn. Please check it out:
I'd like to get some feedback on what I could improve, etc?
Thanks everybody! I really appreciate all the feedback, both good and bad. I will take everybody's recommendations into consideration.
Oh, and the FAQ page is not finished / going to stay like that. LOL.
I am worried about the person who said the links wont work though? They all work fine for me. Anybody else having that problem?
Thanks,
Lloyd

All I can say is, "Lloyd, I wish you were out in Southern California. Your website is pretty near perfect, because: it is compelling. I would be glad to give you my business after seeing your prices and reading your "About Me" section. I feel I could really trust my computer to you.
You will have probably more business than you want if you are doing things for "free". But it might be good to get the business started.
I can see you will be a success and I say, "More power to ya!"
Great domain name, as well.
Furthermore, I would remove the google ads as they detract from the "business - like" image.
The simplicity is good, but under FAQs you might want to beef it up, a tad, although it is enough for now.
You might even want a separate FAQ section to deal with computer problems that would take care of very simple fixes that you did not want to be contacted about. ("is it plugged in?")
The FAQ link at first took a long time to bring me to the page, but I think that is because everyone is looking at it.
ps if you want to trade links, let me know, and I will put you on http://song.fm/

it's REALLY basic, i would expect a slightly flashier webpage for a company that has anything to do with computers if i was going to potentially spend money with them.
also, the about me section is unprofessional looking for a business - it makes it sound like you're a young kid just trying his hand at making some money on the side and after all it's not meant to be a personal website is it?
most people wouldn't bother reading it anyways, it's very long and irrelevant to why they're on your site.
by all means have information about anything you specialise in but the average person looking to get their computer fixed isn't interested in reading about what happened when you were 4.
to recap:
· make it look nicer
· make it look more businessy
EDIT: with regards to the non-working links, he/she was probably more referring to 'server not responding' messages rather than actual broken links. when i was on the site i got a couple of error messages because the server your files are hosted on wasn't responding - maybe your webhosting package isn't up to much?

To be honest i would leave that the first minute i saw it,
i would want to see a professional site, go get a free template and use it.
The text looks bland and doesn't work nicely, that old computer makes the site feel, old and boring
sorry for the criticism, its just that i run my own site

It didn't work for me...the links were mostly all broken. I'm using Firefox as a browser...be sure to test AT LEAST three browsers to make sure things work correctly. I usually do Explorer, Firefox and Safari to test.
Next day: They still aren't working...I can see your text but no links...just broken link icons. I'm working on a MAC. Here, let me try it in Explorer...I'll get back to you...

is too simple, especially the first page, you should put more information and key points so you can attract the customers to keep looking at your web site. Also drop the ads.

I'd recommend dumping the Google ads.

It's ok, actually it's boring. I can't put one together to save my life but from my point of view I think it's boring. Needs sharper images or something.
