Should we SEVERELY limit campaign contributions?
...and fund candidates with public money, limit commercial air time, and restrict campaigns to the 90 days prior to elections? Would that help level the playing field, which now allows only those with family fortunes to stake them? And would it help to elect candidates on some basis other than image?

Yes, we definitely should severely limits campaign funds and limit commercial air time. I think 90 days is too short, maybe six months. We'd see a whole new administration.

Yes, the US should move to a Publicly funded political campaigns and really enforce it against special interest groups and other PAC's.
