Why does life seem so difficult to me?

can anyone advise me why i suddenly snap at people i love (my parents, siblings, etc. ) i had a protected childhood & only late teens i started feeling depressed, easily irritable, unhappy, lonely... is it hormonal--i just had my period--or is it a growing up process?

why i say it may be hormonal is because only when i have PMS or post-mense that i feel suddenly down--physically,mentally & spiritually. & i've heard it could also be growing up pains...

any of u feel this way any point in ur life? ur replies are greatly appreciated :)

i just want to be happy again...

I believe it is part of our growing up process. Everybody feels different in this process where some are happy while the rest are depressed.

You may hope for certain things but it never arrived or you know that it is unachieveable for you. But you have to think on the positive side, sometimes you have to be content with what you have as compare to some who are more unfortunate than you. If you start to compare with those who are better off than you, you will start to feel down again. So be content with what you have and think on a positive note.

Well, ure mood swings cant be totally blamed on hormones or PMS. Has there been any event or anything that you can remember that made you unhappy?? At times , even though u are feeling depressed and moody and snappy, which all of us experience, we have to learn to control our emotions in some way. Because by not blaming oursleves we are actually giving ourselves free reign to do whatever we want and not care if the others around us get hurt.

If the situation with it becomes really bad, try going to a therapist . cause maybe talking to another person that u can trust but not in your close circle may be able to find the root of your mood swings.

It sounds like hormones to me. I have bad news and good news. This happens when you're all grown up too. That's the bad news, the good news is that you learn how to deal with it as the years go by. If it's really a persistent problem they do have things that can help. Try to go the natural route first. And for the sake of those you love around you, try to pay attention to yourself and how you feel and edit your actions and your words. This too shall pass and then come back and pass again. You get it. Good luck, you're not alone.

I would say that your hormones are giving you a hard time right now. You are entering woman hood., and it will probably happen once a month. I would see your Dr. and see if you can get something to help you get through these hard times. God bless you my dear. Not to worry.Smile be happy. Lots of hugs and kisses.

You might want to get your thyroid tested. This can cause moodiness. Or maybe bipolar or schizophrenic.
