Is there anyone else out here who thinks there are way too many folks asking Pet questions ....?
Who else out here feels there are way too many people signing on in this forum asking serious Pet/Animal questions that should be seeing a VET instead,.and way too many idiots giving out rediculous and incorrect answers to those often life threatening situations??!!
It is just common sense that if you have a dog who is not eating or drinking and laying there you see a VET!!! Or a rabbit having seizures.. you dont wait an hour THEN sign into Yahoo and ask complete strangers what should I do?
I realize maybe some can not afford the VET.. but then You should NOT have those animals. If youc ant afford to take care of them .. DONT GET THEM!
Am I the only one out here who comes on and sees this every time they sign in and just cant beleive it?
Oh and lets not forget the ones asking for Medical diagnosis or advice from " vet Techs or Vets only" Please
NOBODY can make a diagnosis without seeing the animal.. And how would you know they are even VETS!????
So who else feels this way!?

It makes me mad........I am nursing my dog back to health right now, after he had a bad accident. If I had asked a question on yahoo and waited for a response he would be dead..... My son carried him inside 4 days ago after he had been hit with a hockey stick (accidentally), I was still in my PJ's, I didn't even get dressed, I jumped in the car and rushed him to the vet, and my daughter rang ahead to let them know we were on our way.......
PEOPLE JUST USE YOUR BRAINS, YOUR PETS ARE LIVING, BREATHING ANIMALS,AND THEY ARE RELYING ON YOU TO LOOK AFTER THEM, IF IN DOUBT, CONTACT YOUR VET.....

Wait you forgot something...not only do they post the question here, they wait a week or two to see what kind of answers they get. I feel the same way a lot of the time. I even said something once to someone that asked a question about her pets eye sight...I told her by waiting two weeks and then posting the question on here most vets and the ASPCA would call that an irresponsible pet owner. I guess if they are new to pet ownership if they are not sure and it isn't serious its ok to post like questions on training. But generally they post questions that instead they should be contacting their vet. I do agree if you can't afford the pet, don't get them...but there are also times that older people have them becuase this is the only form of companionship they have...those I will say nothing rude to, simply because they love the animal just as they would another human.

Yes, I see your point. I agree that if you can't afford to take care of them you shouldn't have them. However, in a recent study it was found that homeless people took better care of their pets than most middle class workerbees. Just because you're poor doesn't mean you don't love them just as much. My gripe are the high vet fees - one of our local vets understands low income/fixed income and is very inexpensive. Also, our humane society has a fund for emergency vet care for people who can't afford it.
