Your best hitter, Beltran, struck out on three pitches and didnt even bother lifting his bat off his shoulder on the third strike.
Did I mention Adam Wainwright is the Cards closer? Way to eat him up Beltran. Also, way to go on having two toy poodles. That really helped your karma.
Congrats to the Cards, it's just too bad that you don't have the pitching to make it interesting. As for Carpenter, he gave up 7 runs in 7 innings back on 6/23 against the Tigers.

Leave the poor guy alone.
He's busy making up excuses why Placido Polanco (who, by the way, is batting .400 with men in scoring position) isnt good enough to play on a team with offense.

So what, my team lost. Your words are hurting me so bad, if I were a lesser man, like you I might have cried, but I just laugh at your stupididty. Nowhere did I claim that the Mets had the best offense ever, they did have the best one in the final four plsyoff teams. A point backed up by statistics.
Beltran getting called out on a low curve isn't the reason the Mets lost. Hitting the ball off Suppon directly at St. Louis players isn't either. The game was lost when Valantin came up with second and third and 1 out and struck out on a bad pitch, one he should of took.
Look at my posts, I haven't bitched or moaned or whined about the loss. I have class, unlike you. I am already focused on next season.
