Verlander pitching game 1, Rogers pitching game 2.......?

The reasoning is that if it goes to game 6, Rogers would be pitching at home again. What do you think of this strategy?

Personally, I think Jim Leyland hasn't been wrong yet, so what the heck! Go for it!

Jim Leyland put out the right players in the series against the A's, so he's ok. The only problem is, are the players back in playing mode?

Rogers game 2 is absolutely the right move, for the exact reasoning you stated.

Robertson is Detroit's fourth-best starter (maybe fifth if you count Mike Maroth, who's hurt), so there's really no reason why he would deserve to start game 1 other than the fact that he started the other two game 1s. So this sounds like a good move by the Tigers.

    Wow!

    Now there is a surprise!

I thought for sure Nate would get the 1st start.

    Either way, it doesnt matter.

Jim Leyland knows what he is doing.

Tigers are going to sweep anyway. The NL was too weak this year just like last year.
