I'm pretty sure that you need to get certification from LA driver control, they may charge for releasing your license, and then go to texas driver control, pay the fee (I think $100), and presto you will have your license back. whatever you do, DO NOT drive until you get your license back!!! If you get pulled over it is mandatory 10 days in jail.

i have heard of people getting a DWI in one state and applying for a license in another state with no problem. Can you make it to NV-they issue licenses to people who drive impaired.
