I got a new roof composite with black roofing tar and granules that look like cat litter. my house is on an island and has salt air. Alright the new roof leaked in two places. Well i went up on the roof and found more problems so i replaced flashing and add roof "caulk" where i saw it needed. it leaked again same places. I had the contractor back. It still leaks I learned this week. when i came down and saw my daughter's bedroom ceiling (vacation house). i got up on the roof and located the sources. it is far from the leaks in the house. they are where angles come together. i got mesh, tar, roof caulk what am i forgetting? need advice before repairing. thanks

I met my Dad in dallas for thanksgiving. It was at his sister in laws house. it was surreal none of her family there would talk to us. Even if you spoke to them they ignored us.Sitting down for the meal was so nutty. they had put down seating cards and on my daughters b/f place wrote "random dude". I stayed around yesterday to see my dad then today until the sister and law and family got home. she came in griping at me I picked up my stuff and left with my husband to our hotel. It was bizarre having people act like you did not exist. The only one that talked to us was the sister in law and then it was to bark orders. anyone have anything like that? of course my dad is angry b/c I just left but i had had enough.
