Saddle shoes and bobby sox.

Poodle skirts or any full longish skirt.

Blouses with Peter Pan collars and a Circle Pin at the top.

Pony tails with a scarf tying it.

Charm bracelets.

Sweater sets.

Sunglasses with rhinestones.

Pedal pushers. They call them capri pants now.

Okay one obvious thing is an ankle length kinda poofy skirt but those are hard to find unless you can make one.They also wore kinda tight jeans that came to the belly button with a tucked in button-up blouse,usually a white or pink or yellow or flowered one,and they tied a scarf around their neck and put it to the side.Pencil skirts were popular.A pencil skirt is one that was tight and went to the knees,usually in black navy blue or gray.Button-up sweaters were also pretty popular.Good luck.

The boys wore Dobie Gillis shirts and slacks,maybe penny loafers.

ok well my grandma said that they used to wear there sweaters backwards. I mean I don't think that was widely popular but it seems cool. Get a group of friends to do it with you. Look up fifties on google pic's or something. They wore circle skirts. Oh make sure you wear a pony tail and if you wear your hair down make sure that it is CURLY they never liked their hair straight.
