Do you think people should pass a basic knowledge of govt before they can vote?

Sure, why not. After that we can eliminate the women's vote, then the black vote, and limit voting to only white, male, property owners.

What you are suggesting is taking democracy backwards. Lots of people have died securing the right to vote for all people. You should be ashamed of the idea to limit voting rights.

No, that would eliminate a simple and important right as a citizen in this country. It is unfortunate that we as the voting public are so ignorant of so many issues, but, to take this right away from some just because of lack of knowledge would lead to an elitist type society. Who would chose what basic knowledge means. Sorry that alone is too dangerous for me.

    No, that must not happen!!!!!!!

As you can tell from reading Questions on Yahoo, there would not be a single Democrat Politician elected to office.

All the politicians would be Republicans & Libertarians.

Hmmmmm. (Well, maybe it's a good idea.)
