How much does it cost to establish an Internet cafe and does one go about it?

Well, aside from the cost of equipment, which include but is not limited to, Computers (and computer prices are higher depending on the specs, so if you want the latest to have the latest games, you should know they will be pretty expensive after a few) and how many of them, chairs, licenses of OS (if you decide not to go open source) licenses for any games you may want to have, monitors, tables, wires, routers, and many other things. You will also have to consider employee pay. Will you buy the office/building or lease/rent? How much bandwith do you want to bring into your place?

Security fees depend on the business type and are by region and country. You have to also consider insurance payments for security reasons. Business permit fees. Maintenance fees (again the more computers and bigger the place, the more it will cost.)

Utility bills (water, electricity and more)

As to how you go about it, first thing to do is bring the money that will be needed to buy your equipment, you have to make sure that you have more than that since you cannot expect to start making money right of the bat. Visit your local county business office, since you do have to make sure that the name you want for your business is not taken, and it will cost you to register it. I pay it every year. Fire department will have to also survey your place and clear it for fire hazards.

You can always ask for more information at your local county business office to see what other things there are too clear.

Then permits to sale food as well. What will your menu include? Are we talkin about just coffee? Expresso machines? You will need refrigiration for the perishibles, like milk and if you decide to do things like light cold sandwiches, then for the meat and some of the ingredients. Training of staff. A business phone line.

It's a big investment starting a business of this type as well as time consuming. The one thing you will need most of is determination to go forward, just make sure it's something you can handle and most of all manage properly.

my friends Internet Cafe can survive only 1,5 years , not to good for making money.

It depends on Internet Cafe offers, but I think most of them offer wireless also. It's better if you can ask them. Good luck
