    it's possible. usually each country (or group of countries) will have an agreed specification outlining what frequencies should be used for what. So... in the UK we may use 300Hz - 4Khz for holding voice data, whereas the US may use 300Hz - 3.4Khz (this is just an example and may not be true). Best bet would be to research what each country uses in their technology and go from there.
