Is there a statute of limitations for speeding in Nebraska?
I got a speeding ticket in Nebraska like 6 years ago. Is there a statute of limitations on speeding tickets there?

There probably is, but it wouldn't apply. The statute of limitations restricts the ability to bring initial claims against putative offenders. For example, if you commit, say, fraud, but no one catches you for ten years, it would be too late to do anything about it. In most states, when you get a ticket, you also get a court date, so the ticket is the initial complaint and service of process all in one. This would initiate legal proceedings, so the statute of limitations would not apply. Assumming you paid the fine, the case is closed, and there's nothing that can be done against you anyways.
If you didn't pay the fine, things are different, but the statute probably doesn't apply, as proceedings were initiated already.
I'm really not sure what you're asking.

I think that it goes off in a year.. you should be long past and it should have been taken off or your record long ago. unless you had other charges on there with it..
good luck..
