- JasmineLv 51 decade agoFavorite AnswerNot sure how many Dems but I do know 77 of 100 senators and 296 of 435 House members voted to authorize the president to use force against Iraq. Found this: The Senate vote sharply divided Democrats, with 29 voting for the measure and 21 against. All Republicans except Sen. Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island voted for passage.

Hours earlier, the House approved an identical resolution, 296-133. So not everyone was on board. - Anonymous1 decade agoIf you can find the date the vote was taken (The Congressional Record might help on this) it would note who voted how 
- 1 decade agoOnly one senator (Feingold) voted against the authorization for President Bush to use force. However, they were told that there were WMD's and that Iraq was an imminant threat to US Security backed up by false information feed to the senate by the whitehouse.
