Anyone else out there grow peanuts?

A freeze got to my plants before I got them dug. Can I still harvest them. Also, how do I prepare them? Details please. Roasting and boiling.

As long as the "nut" itself was still in the ground

they will still be alright. But you need to get them

out before the next frost. You can either boil or

roast them. Have ever you like to eat them.

Boiling...cover peanuts with water in a pot, add salt

and boil until the "inside" nut is soft.

Roasting...either shell peanut OR leave it in the hull

put on baking sheet, bake in oven on about 350-degrees

    until desired taste is reached.
