Anyone ever had a vasectomy?

My coworker had one on Thursday, and said he'd be back on Monday. He wasn't, so I got called in to work his shift. If he calls in again today, I'll get called again. And, if I'm getting called in again, I really should be getting to bed soon.

So, how long does it take for the berries to heal after a vasectomy?

    Some men have them done then go back to work the same day. Maybe he is having trouble with it or something......Last one I knew to have it done went back to work. It's not a deep cut or anything..

    No I have never had one.

    More people SHOULD have vasectomies!

    Actually, it is an outpatient procedure. They don't cut very deeply and it's supposed to heal almost completely in a couple of days. Unless they screwed something up, your coworker is probably slacking.

    Get to bed...it usually takes ATLEAST a week.
