Just come up with the good answer that will qualify as the best one, make it concise and to the point, keep it brief, if possible, and make sure you get as many of the facts straight. Those are simple ways to have your answer chosen as the best one.

or
try to be the first person to answer a question
that way when people are voting on unresolved answers to get points they will more likely choose the answer that is on top of the list for the best answer

If I ask multiple questions, I look for the person who answers most of them, no cussing as I don't like cussing, and any other information that I may not have thought of. If the person answers the same as other people in the list of answerers, I always choose whoever answered first as is fair. =)

A touch of humor or a smart a.s.s remark tend to help people relax as they read your answer. I have found that the psychological ramifications often impact the HAHAHAHAHA I thought I could do it- guess not. LOL
