I drink WAaaaay more coffee than that and trust me if I do not have it I will have a headache that is cured by--Coffee. If he drinks coffee does the headache stop? That test works every time...for caffeine issues.
So what if that is not it?? Could be sinus; the fall is GREAT for allergies. Any snorting, sneezing, or coughing?? Any snotting and blowing??
And it could be that he needs his eyes checked...does he squint, sit in front of a computer all day or have his arms gotten to short for his eyes? A common affliction in the male who refuses to acknowledge he is just getting old...

You could get him to refrain from drinking anything with caffeine in it for a few days and see if it is in fact caffeine in coffee, tea, or soda that may be causing the headaches. If this turns out not to be the case I would suggest that it may be best to ask a doctor. People do get tension headaches, but then there are people like my husband who cannot drink too much caffeine because it does cause him to have headaches. Having said that, no one should have to live in pain, it is not "normal" to have pain without a reason, so get it checked. Good luck and hope he feels beter soon.

As with many substances, human beings can easily develop a tolerance to caffeine. Dependence occurs when we require ever increasing amounts of a given substance just to get the same effect - in this case the caffeine found in coffee.
Yes, absolutely, headaches from withdrawal are quite common. If your husband is reducing the amount of caffeine he gets each day, then headaches can be expected. Many people just take whatever headache remedy they normally take. Thankfully, the headaches generally disappear within a week or so.
Good luck!

It can be yes... it's called a caffeine withdrawl headache... if he great reduces the intake of coffee after developing a certain level...it can cause him to have mega headaches.
he needs to ween himself from the caffeine or just go cold turkey and bare it out. Increase clear fluids, stop the coffee, take headache pain pills..... and in 2 or 3 days he's in the clear....
dependency sux...lol.

Caffeine is very addictive and the number one withdrawal symptom is headaches. The best thing to do is just wait it out. Once his body gets used to the lower levels of caffeine he'll stop having the headaches. Until then he should just take Tylenol.

Since coffee acts like a diuretic which pulls water out of the body, He may be dehydrated to some extent. Ask him to try drinking more filtered water through out the day to see if the headaches decrease.

I know the with-drawl from coffee will cause headaches, but I think for only a few days and I also think it has to be completely cold turkey no coffee.

definite and no. on a similar time as espresso and weight-reduction plan soda are calorie loose, they the two comprise caffeine, often, and that they do no longer help in any respect with a healthful weight-reduction plan. there is a few thing with reference to the carbonated water interior the pop and on a similar time as the espresso is a robust option it may be decaffenated. subject arises while the two cups replace into 3 & 4 & so on. a solid option is organic tea like pepermint , herl gray, and naturaly caffeine loose eco-friendly tea. Caffeine, on a similar time as a diuretic , that's solid greater water is necc. + 8 cups on a daily basis Minnimum

his body wants the caffeine agine. his body is having with drawls. i went threw it try to have him try juice (this helped me) or something or even try leaning him off it agine. have him go back to 2-3 full cops and each week have him go to small cups or drink one less cup. it all depends how addicted the body is to the coffee.
