You are not going to replace lost cartilage. When it's gone, it's gone, your age may make a difference too. If it's a cartilage tear, it can be repaired by arthroscopic surgery, not bad, I had it. OTC pain relievers i.e., Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Aleve, etc might help. But do not do exercises that are not prescribed by a physical therapist. You could do more damage! You might be looking at a knee replacement down the road.

There's this Malaysian manufactured product called 3rflex by Leroy that rebuilds damaged bone cartillage. It's made up of several amino acids. It comes is powder form that has to be dissolved in lukewarm water, and to be taken once a day 30 minutes before breakfast. It has woked well with my mom's osteo arthritis. it works.

Have you tried shark cartilage? I have torn cart ledge in my knee and it did help. Not 100% mind you, but it stopped it from aching constantly. Then I re injured it and now arthritis has set in so now I am a candidate for a knee replacement.

    Good luck
