  • Why is Internet in Korea so cheap and fast?

    seriously, i feel that internet in korea is much stable in terms of speed throughout the day(streaming videos on internet is much smoother). whereas in singapore there are the PEAK and NON-PEAK hours(videos still dont stream that smoothly during non-peak).

    moreover, the speed that i worked with in korea is 512mbps and in singapore is 4000mbps which is rather weird.

    in korea, an hour in cyber cafe cost abt USD0.75 but in singapore, the cheapest is about USD4.50.

    is it the problem with the ISP or the problem with individual settings? answer both questions haha.. thanks

  • Same Effect As Water?

    everyday when i take shower i always try different styles with my hair using water.. but i cant do that with gel or other products (eg. wax hairspray etc.)

    can anyone give some tips or step by step info about how to make make it possible to style hair with gel as it is done with water..

    styles i did with water but impossible with gel

    -outrageous styles i cant really think of now

  • PENTIUM 4 1.7 GHz.. does it still have potential?

    i have this com as above.. i know its not terrible neither is it very good.. it hangs when 6 windows are running simultaneously.. i seriously believe its the problem of the RAM because it is only 256 MB.. however its also win98..

    i understand that win98 is definitely slower than XP but i think reason for the continuous hanging is due to the lack of memory to work with.. but the bloody computer seller strongly believes its my com that has virus.. and that i can confirm is not true at all..

    there is spy ware but cant be eliminated coz the com can even run ad-aware..

    please help by telling me if the MAIN reason for hanging is due to the pathetic RAM or the OS.

  • Repair Knee Cartilage?

    is there any exercise or medicine i can use to cure or to eradicate the pain from my eroded cartilage on both knees.?

    tried to go for physiotheraphy but found it too unrealistic because its far away from where i stay...

    i'll gladly hear from everyone especially physiotherapist or nurses in training.. thanks!

    i do know some basic stretches and ONE strengthening exercise..HAHA!
