Wow...You pay way to much attention to your tampons, But I have your answer as to why. Have you ever felt your cervix with your finger? I say no. Go all the way in with you middle finger until your finger stops. Then push up towards either of your sides, front, and back. When you find the donut shaped frim surface you have found your cerivx. I primose you it's to the side that you tampon is wet on. Makes all the sense in the world now doesn't it?

If the blood is on one side of the tampon, your tampon is not placed correctly. If it is slanted a bit either way, the blood hits the side that's facing the cervix.

I have done that when my period starts, but once it gets going, then I can place it correctly so the blood hits it dead center where it's supposed to.
