Anyone out there read Artemis Fowl or Eragon/Eldest?

I've read both series and thought they were great. can't wait for the last one in the inheritance trilogy to come out. i also really liked the last atremis fowl i read, the opal deception, i thought that one was really good. you didn't ask about this series but have you read the bartimaeus trilogy? i really really liked that one too. sorry it was only a trilogy, i wished it would of kept going...

I love the Eragon/Eldest series and am waiting for the 3rd book in the trilogy. They are terrific to listen to in unabridge audio format also. Also I am not a kid. I love young adult books because they are well written and usually have great story lines. As far as Eragon/Eldest goes not as in depth or or as lengthy as the Harry Potter books, but a pleasure to read. And I love dragons.

i've read all the artemis fowl series except artemis fowl: the lost colony. they're great books,hope they make a movie since all british books are turned into movies like harry potter, alex rider series, well the first book, stormbreaker, eragon is turned to a movie.

i tried reading eragon, but the intro is boring its tiring just to read the first part. i've been trying to reread it for like 3x already but its hard and long. i might watch the movie even if i don't know anything about it except a farmboy and a dragon egg. i prefer hary potter.

edward speelers, who plays eragon i think is cute. but alex pettyfer playing alex rider in stormbreaker is hotter.alex was suppose to play eragon, but he chose alex rider.

i love The Inheritance Trilogy and can't wait for the third. It is rumored to be Empire, and i think the next Dragon Rider will be Arya. I also cannot wait for the movie coming December 15, 2006. Although there are some changes (like Arya's hair) i think it will be awesome but the books are always the best.

oh my gosh i here so much about them both it really bothers me because i tempted to read it but it was so boring in the begining so if it sucks in begining they why bother
