is the west side of Thailand around Koh Samui wet or in monsoon season at the begining of Dec?

I'm thinking of going on Holiday here and want it to be hot and sunny. Should I go to the east side around Krabi?

    Monsoon season is not in December. The weather will be hot.

    Either east or west are great for weather at that time.

    More activity in Koh Samui than Krabi.

    nope.it wud be just as u want it......temperature wud be from 30 max to 20 min approx.....and yea...it wud be sunny.......happy touring!!
