How much do you tip for a 1 hour massage?
Do you have a standard amount in your mind before you even go in and then adjust it up or down after it's over? What factors affect the tipping? If you can tell the therapist tried to do his/her best for you, but you just didn't like their type of massage will that affect the amount you tip?

20%...if you don't like the type massage you are getting, speak up and let your masseuse know something isn't working for you, and ask them to adjust the problem.

If the therapist did their best I give a bigger tip. Usually 10%-20% of the fee for the massage.

15-20% tip if the massager tried,... if you just didn't like the type or style make it 15% if the one giving the massage didn't try,.. tip nothing,.. it's an all or nothing with me,.. i don't minus or deduct,.. unless it's the whole amount,.. I either tip or not

Normally I give something between 15-20%. If the masseuse is really good, I have the penchance to really give the 20%. However, if it's just a mediocre work, then 15% will do.

I'm a massage therapist, and to be honest with you, I'm good with WHATEVER extra they give me...people these days are so Freakin stingy that it hurts...it's not easy giving a hour massage.

10-20% if the massage was to your liking. Don't reward them for doing their job poorly.

I think $10 sounds like a good amount.
