What do you think of this more scientific story of Creation in the Bible?
“The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was even an earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth; while as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, or the primal dust of the world.
When He prepared the heavens, I was there, when He drew a circle on the face of the deep, when He established the clouds above, when He strengthened the fountains of the deep, when he assigned the sea its limit, so that the waters would not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth, then I was beside Him as a Master Craftsman.” -- Proverbs 8:22-30
How would anyone back then know that the mountains arose and were not created when the Earth was created? This did not take one day. [more to write but out of characters]
This is just a post of a different story. I do not read anything into this except to note that it is pretty good for being writen 4000 years ago.
Wisdom and the master craftsman are one and the same. What does it mean for sure?

Proverbs has a lot of beauty, and you're right, someone 4,000 years ago wouldn't know a lot of stuff that 's in the bible. The earth is called an orb in the bible, so all that nonsense about the bible saying its flat is ludicrous. It talks about the 4 corners, North, South, East and West, so people interpreted that as being flat, when in fact, it's directional. You wanna see some very scientific biblical-aged stuff, read the book of Enoch. Not the angel parts, though they are fascinating, but the astronomy stuff, very intense.

How would anyone know that mountains rose from the earth?
Don't you think that's pretty much common sense? I don't know of any primitive mythology that talks about mountains appearing any other way.
Seriously, you're trying way too hard to believe in your mythology.
Have you ever considered that? Have you ever considered the possibility that you are TRYING to make sense of nonsense, when the truly sensible things are right in front of your eyes?
I understand that you want to believe in god. I was the same way, years ago. I know how hard it is to let go. And I tried everything in my power to justify that belief, even though my rational mind was telling me it was simply ludicrous.
Try looking at these subjects you keep bringing up, with an objective mind. Apply the same level of scrutiny to your religious beliefs, as you would to anything else in your life, such as finances, politics, used car salesmen, etc... Don't try to make yourself see what you want to see. Just look at what is there. Don't try to force god into the picture. If god is there, you'll see him, and you won't need to argue the point. Doesn't that make a little more sense...?

Solomon said, "There is nothing new under the sun" The libraries at Alexandria had detailed maps of Antarctica with rivers and hills before it was burned by the Caliph of Baghdad In 641. He exhibited a spirit of religious fanaticism in ordering Amrou to burn the books stored there.
According to evolutionary scientists, the ice on the surface of Antarctica up to 15000 ft thick has been there for 100,000 years. Ha Ha Ha...

There is, by definition, no "scientific" story of creation in the bible. I don't know what point your mountains statement is supposed to prove.
You cannot have it both ways. Either you accept science as fact or you turn away from it and believe the stories in the Bible. You're free, of course, to choose either, but you just can't have both.

You are reading WAY too much into that. It also says there was no earth and no sea.

That collection of scriptures is talking about wisdom and how long it has been around. You should study more.
