Brown on the bottom and blonde on top?? Kinda out-dated don't you think?? Open up some fashion magazines and get inspired by the new trends. What is "in" this season is chocolate, reds, and mahogany tones. Highlights are out as well. Try getting panels or strips of colours framing your face. Remember that all the styles right now are about a-symetry.
