how come sometimes my questions don't show up on the first page of answers?
there are people who ask several questions, and they all show up on the first page all the time, and mine only show up once in awhile.

Remember this is an international site. There could be ten questions posted at the same time that yours is. It should appear on the specific category page.

Hey you were the first one with this question!
look at how long ago the questions were asked. maybe if you are asking at a time that a lot of other people are asking, yours gets pushed back.

there are a ton of people all asking a question at the same time as you are or close to it. I don't think Yahoo is picking on you
