Buzzing noise with turn signals?

Could be a turn signal fuse/relay going bad. Normally is the quarter size silver circle on your fuse box, down near your brake pedal, under the dash.

Or could be noise resistance coming from the radio or alternator. This could be true if you have a after market radio. Any radio store or electronics store will carry a radio noise reducer. Some aftermarket radio's come with them...normally a 1" square box on the power line. Just pull your radio out and wire it inline with the power wire (red). This was common issue on older cars and electrical systems.

Turn on your turn signal, and look in the fuse box. There will be a small round canister looking thing making that buzzing noise-this is the turn signal relay, and it is going bad. The good part about that is: #1. the noise makes them very easy to locate, and #2. they are almost the cheapest fix you will ever do to a vehicle ( 2 to 5 dollars in most cases)

Turn signal relay- its not switching the signal thier- it will have to be replaced soon.

That relay in your car is in the fuse box- under the hood- take the cap off the Fuse box and it wil be the top left square box- the color is black- if you a buddy around have him turn the signal on and off and you will hear it "click"!!!

you have a turn signal flasher thats going bad, most likely. go out and turn your signal on, listen to where the flasher is and next time you hear the buzzing see if its coming from the same area, i have seen this problem recently
