Yep! loads of us have posted this question now! Whoops! They should do a spin off about Cheryl and Twiggys romance, that would be well funny, they could have little lardy babies!

Nah I didn't cry - but I was sad that Nanna passed away:-( I was very disappointed with the programme and I'd really been looking forward to it. I think Caroline Aherne is fab but this one just didn't do it for me.

I think you mean the 'Royle Family', Caroline Ahernes comedy is tremendous, even if she is married to a member of New Order (guess she had to have a sense of humour)

Yes I did it also reminded me of my mum who I lost in 2000. We used to watch it together and loved Nanna. There was a mixture of comedy and sadness.

cried buckets of laughter at first,then buckets of tears when nanna was taken ill,and sadly died.i hope they make more episodes.

yes i still mopping up as i type. 2 special songs both sung to me by my mother in the fifties did it. absolute genius!
