How long have terrorist been around for? Why do you think people started to think that killing is a way?

to solve problems? Why are we not taught the history of the middle east in high school. I only ask because for the most part when I was in high school we were taught the history of Germany and world war 2. And American history. I KNOW The Holocaust was horrible, I am just curious to know why we weren't taught about the history of terrorist or some other interesting facts about world history. I don't even know the history of terrorist. It didn't seem like that many people even knew about terrorism before 9-11.

Update:

Now I am NOT sating that terroism is right at all, but do you think that maybe people started getting violent because they saw people in their own country getting treated bad and had to act out. But then they just got out of control? The movie Paradise now was a really good movie, I do recomend it

There has always been terorism. that is every since religion was here. when there are different religions people fight becauce of the differences. Thats what happended on 9-11. - the bombers killed the us citizens because they wouldnt convert to islam. Its also because of the fact that every one thinks that when we die its for eternity so therefore even if bombing a building and tring to kill other people who dont belive our religion will get us to go to a peaceful place after death most people will do so.
