Why women hate women just because they are women?

Great Question! Society has influenced women to look and judge other women... by society, I mean media, magazines, etc...

In comparing ourselves to one another, we have developed negative emotions towards our own sex. Competition is often about who looks better (to get the man who usually isn't even worth getting).

I don't think that women hate each other in general. I think that you may find insecurities amongs those that dislike their female counterpart. This could stem from having to compete early in life (which girl wears the prettiest clothes, which girl has the prettiest hair, etc.). It's just something that we never really grow out of until we make a conscious effort to appreciate the beauty of a "sister."

Part of the insecurity is where jealousy plays a good part. Often women are subjected to the games of men playing one girl against another, which is not a healthy start. This is where brain power can certainly win over.

You will find that many women are uniting and not allowing these petty differences affect how they treat one another. But what you see is common in the workplace and it has a lot to do with that person's background. Men are somewhat the same except they do not let their testerone levels speak for them when things get heightened. :)

Women are such rare desserts, some good, some bad, some horrible. There's a set of twins that some women carry around with them. Let me introduce them to you.

Twin# 1 envy- don't like you because of the good things that happen in your life...not realizing that no one person owes the market on happiness.

Twin#2 jealousy- petty,predictable hating on the qualities traits set by another individual not realizing you probably have gifts within themselves.

Twin#3 low self esteem- the queen killer bee in female/female relationships."Woe " is me syndrome,live inside a box ,mindset is "I wish my hair looked like yours" .......my nose is big,want larger breast...get over it god made you perfect,so the only thing you can do is just enhance what is already there. These types of women have very hard times in relationships the # 1 reason they don't love themselves.

I was on the receiving end of jealousy in the workplace 12 years ago. Lesson learned: if you are single, unmarried, no children, and a female: do not work with a bunch of married women with brats, especially a married female boss. It's not worth the hassle. I just wish they'd all stay at home and assume some sort of responsibility for their husbands and children, for a change.

I don't hate women just because they're women. I dislike some women because they're stupid. It's as simple as that. I try to be as nice as possible to everyone in my workplace, normally all the time. But, every once in awhile a stupid person (be it male or female) will ask a stupid question, and I will give them a smart a** answer. I'm an equal opportunity disliker. :)

This is a another one of those questions that generalize all women. I don't hate women, I might dislike one person, man or woman, because they do something i don't like. What I like and dislike is all of my own accord, can't judge everyone by what one person does or does not do!!

I don't hate any women unless she does something really nasty to me or someone I care about.... I wouldn't actually use the word hate to describe what I'd feel for her, I'd rather say "strongly dislike"

If women could stop fighting w/ each other, they'd have taken over the world by now.

Women are territorial, like cats. Especially when it comes to their home and men. Women will unite with other women for causes, like child abuse, etc. But most women don't stick together when it comes to a man. .Why this is, I'm not sure. Maybe because its hard to find a quality man, and when we do, we don't want to let it go. Its also jealously, like the other girl said. We hate other women because they look better than us, or are richer than us, etc. Most women don't trust other women, especially when it comes to our men. A woman will seduce another girl's man just because she can.

It's a jealously thing. Who is the better woman.. lol its ridiculous...but there are alot of women that are like that. Just because someone is prettier, smarter, more talented than her she gets all pissy.
