Asking a guy to casually hang out?
I posted a question earlier about a guy friend flirting with me at work. How can I ask him if he'd like to hang out sometime (as friends first) without sounding like an idiot? He's got a Yahoo! personals ad, so I know he's single. I get soo nervous at the thought of asking, but I really wanna ask. Any advice would be cool!

Ask him if he wants to go out sometime on a letter as a multiple choice question. We can learn a lot from children.
I'm sure he won't care if you asked him to go out.

Just ask him if he'd like to hang out some time no strings attached. See if he wants to grab a bite to eat some time after work or something because he's pretty cool. If he seems kinda "iffy" then tell him it's no big deal just grabbing a bite & wanted 2 know if he was hungry too or something. Good luck :)

First you need to be less vague about it. "Hang out sometime" means exactly nothing. Tomorrow lunchtime, at one minute to 12, you walk up to him and say: "Come on, I'll buy you lunch." Then take his arm and lead him off. The arm thing is important for any number of reasons. This will work. It is simple (guys understand simple), it is direct, it is immediate, he has no choice, and he practically has to return the favor.

that is really hard to do. if you have feelings for him then tell him you are trying to take it slow. it should make things a LITTLE easier
