How is it that flies can land on a switched-on light bulb and not burn their feet ?

    I can't say I've seen flies, or moths, do that. Fly round them maybe, land no, not when bulb has been on a while,.....and is mighty hot.

    Because they have just flown off an ice cube in your drink (which they also weed and pooed in) and trying to warm em up I guess

    How do you know that they don't? Maybe the screams are just out of human hearing range.
