can't get itunes songs to play on my ipod?

i just bought a new ipod nano. out of about 30 different albums i have on there, 6 albums won't play at all. when i hit play, it just scrolls through all the tracks and then dumps me back in the first menu. those 6 albums were ALL purchased from the itunes music store, and the ones that DO play are ALL cd's that i uploaded. wtf? does anyone know how to fix this?

Content you purchased from the iTunes Store won't play your on iPod. The content plays correctly in iTunes, and all non-purchased content (such as content imported from audio CD) plays normally on the iPod. The purchased songs' titles are visible on the iPod but appear to be skipped over without being played.

you need to make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes (version 7). and then you may have to restore your iPod to the factory settings. this will delete everything on it, but aslong as it is all on your computer, it will re-update it.
