The reason is Like india Bangladesh does not make one man upmanship in the Army. Of course the para military (BDR) and Army are quite strong and have enough capablities of countering a superpower like china aggression on it. Comparing the political situation with pakistan. Pakistan is considered to be a military economy(Newsweek report). The main allocation of the budget around 60 - 65 percent goes to Military expenditure. Secondly in pakistan unlike India the president has more powers than the prime minister. Cause Jinnah wanted power so he framed that in such a way that the prime minister listens to him. As much as the power of sacking the prime minister(Conversation between Jinnah and Mountbatten). So well experienced with dictatorship and everyone (PMs of pak) who wished to take control of the Army met the same fate of coup. Compared to paki's Banladesh people are more tolerant to opposition or dual views. Even when some strikes go voilent its due to extremist participation in Bangladesh they learny the benefits of Human freedom and Democracy. I dont say there is no Human freedom in Dictatorship cause there is cuba where people enjoy the leadership of a responsible leader. The bottomline the people have adapted to peaceful means of selecting their leaders, while the Army has Pakistan.

Well. let's see. The Republicans are over ruling our rights under the Constitution; Does that mean we are a spineless people? Or do enough people believe our security from terrorists is worth the trade off for some of our rights?

Power flows where people let it. I sincerely doubt our rights would mean much to us if the majority of our people were, say, starving or homeless due to living in a broken economy due to constant warring by factions within the country. Also, Pakistan needs a strong military to counter India's threat of invasion. Bangladesh has nothing worth taking over by the Indians.

My opinion matches that of Ben Franklin: People who would trade freedom for security deserve neither.

Hope this helps answer your question.

Ha! So actual. i'm unlikely to assert Muslims do no longer oppress women people...every person oppress women people interior the international, even women people. Islam nonetheless, isn't the reason Muslims oppress women people. Years of systematic patriarchy and cultural lack of expertise is what makes Muslims oppress women people. people ought to understand that there are very solid, very in a position Muslim women people who don't sense oppressed in any respect available.
