No, we should not trust N. Korea. A dictator bent on aquiring the ultimate backmail leverage : nuclear weapon with the will / threat to use it will not give it up easily. Kim's perception of survival depends on it since his backward country has nothing else. All the recent events are calculated moves ..just like in a chess game. They know what they want and they know how to get it. Trust them naively now will create bigger headache later. It is all about leverage and survival.

  • Personally I say yes, I choose to trust North Korea.

A good person, will give the benefit of the doubt and try to trust something or someone regardless of its or their past. Whether they are right or wrong about it...that is what makes a good person a good person.

If you take the time to listen to what the leader of North Korea has to say with an open mind, maybe you'll see from another perspective. If you are ignorant and close minded and only believe that your way is it the right way and that you are perfect, then you are not trying to understand and you'll never be playing fair in life.

If he were to ever decide to 'go' with it, I assure you it is only because the negative forces are challenging him to do it, and that includes USA and the rest of the countries who are being bullies about it.

After what's been going on with Iraq, hasn't ANYONE learned their lesson?

I think the real question here is: Should we trust anything our own Governments have to say? Now that's a whole different story.

The question should be ,"Should North Korea trust United States. United States had not set a good example for people in the world to trust its republican government

Not really. Given the nature of dictatorships in general and the pompous character and underhanded dealings of the communist despot KIM Jong Il we should be very wary in all dealings. They are attempting to attain recognition as a modern world power when they starve their children and suppress their population while the leader indulges his every corpulent pompadoured corrupt whim.

no because they kept lying in the past stupid and direct lies to get there nuclear weapons.

and they eluded and missed with every one to get most of what they want.

any state that blackmails is not one id recommend trusting.
