My cousin used to work as a salesman at dealership in Texas. He always used to tell us that we can return a new car within 30 days. (Texas law.) it could have changed by now, I would go to a different dealership and find out the current laws for returning a car. I'm sure the competition will be glad to enlighten you on the current laws.

Doubt it... Most of the dealers do that on their own. It depends more on where you bought the car and who you financed it through.

If this is your biggest problem... I would leave it alone. You will have lower payments and if something ever happens to you financially, it will be easier to make the payments. Plus its rare when there is a penalty for paying off a loan early so you could do that. Just make sure before you do so.
